Ca’ del Bosco Sculpture Award
In 2023, in line with the pillars of the Ca’ del Bosco’s philosophy, President Maurizio Zanella announced the creation of the Ca’ del Bosco Sculpture Award reserved for large open-air sculptures created by Italian artists under 40. Ca’ del Bosco shares the Award’s commitment with the Venetian Heritage Foundation.
The Award serves a double purpose. On one hand, it reinforces indelibly the strong bond between Art and Ca’ del Bosco, one of Franciacorta’s wine excellences and a protagonist of the Italian wine renaissance. The second reason why stems from the will to institutionalize the existing strong bond with the patronage needed to energize the infinite capacities and imaginative possibilities of the new generations of artists.
• Participation in the Award is by invitation of the Jury.
• The Ca’ del Bosco Sculpture Award is held every two years and, in this form, is designed to last.
• The Ca’ del Bosco Sculpture Award is open to all Italian artists (born, resident or domiciled) under 40 years of age.
• One of the most important parameters for evaluating the works is environmental sustainability, along the lines expressed in the Ca’ del Bosco Manifesto.
• In addition to a cash prize for the top three contestants, the winner’s work will be realized and installed in the Ca’ del Bosco Sculpture Park on a permanent basis.
• The president of the Jury is Toto Bergamo Rossi, director of Venetian Heritage. The Jury is composed of personalities who represent and manage the resources of the world of Art and creativity in general.
